Photo of the Day: Teen Craft Night at the Marion Carnegie Library

August 27, 2020

While wearing his DIY Shrinky Dink earrings he made that night, Chancellor Davis, 15, traces a photo of Kaonashi also known as “No Face” from the animated film “Spirited Away” during Teen Craft Night at the Marion Carnegie Library. “I definitely think it is a positive outlet for the kids to come in here and have a little bit more of a normal environment. We don’t talk about COVID and the world, we just have fun. They get to have a creative outlet and enjoy just being around other teens.” Coordinator of Young Adult Services, Mandee Villa said on Aug. 26, 2020. The library will be holding craft nights for teenagers ages 12 to 19 every Wednesday with social distancing guidelines in place. (Tiffany Young | @photographybytiffa)
