Mustache Dash 5K To Benefit American Cancer Society

The Mustache Dash 5K Run/Walk presented by Heartland Regional Medical Center and the American Cancer Society. Registration for this event begins at 12 p.m. with the 5K starting at 1 p.m.

The Mustache Dash 5K is a race benefitting the American Cancer Society and Relay For Life of Williamson Franklin Saline and Gallatin Counties to fund cancer research, local programs and services and education on cancer prevention. The 5K will wrap up the month of “No Shave November,” giving participants a place to show off their mustaches and beards before shaving them off. If you can’t grow facial hair grab your best costume mustache or beard and join in on the fun!

Timing services will be provided by Run To Succeed. Registration for the 5K is $20 until Nov. 18 to guarantee a t-shirt. Registration will increase to $25 after Nov. 18. The first 50 participants that register will receive a Mustache Dash 5K coffee mug.

Medals awarded to overall run and walk finishers for male and female and medals for top finishers, male and female, in each age category. Medals will also be given to the best fake and real facial hair in the following categories: Best Male Mustache, Best Beard and Best Female Mustache, and a medal for Most Mustached Individual. So grab or grow your best mustache and dash to the Mustache Dash 5K!
