Carbondale Community Arts is sponsoring a free grant-writing workshop from 1 to 2:30 p.m. today. The free 90-minute workshop will take place at Hickory Lodge, 1115 W. Sycamore St.

The workshop will provide information about applying for grants and answer questions about funding. Applicants must be non-student residents of Illinois.
