Missouri Rep. Brandon Ellington (D-Kansas City) filed a bill in the Missouri House on March 7 which would make it illegal for law officers to shoot suspects while surrendering, according to a Missouri Times press release.

SPRINGFIELD- The Illinois House passed a bill Wednesday which would require public schools to include lessons on prominent LGBTQ+ figures in history. House Bill 246, also called the Inclusive Curriculum bill, would go into effect July 1, 2020.
