Daily Egyptian editor-in-chief Emily Cooper said she is proud of the organization for all of their hard work because it showcases the newspaper’s importance to the university and community.

“It takes a lot of hard work and determination to win one, let alone three,” Cooper said. “It just shows that we, as underdogs, are still able to do what bigger colleges do online. It’s an amazing feeling working with a staff that puts forth the effort that is displayed by this award. For the whole organization to welcome home this title for the third consecutive year is just awe-inspiring.”
