“I suppose you could call LIGHTS OUT an “opto-physico-electro-acoustic” work for wind band, because it was conceived from the onset as a visual media piece,” Shapiro said in in regards to the piece on her website.

The SIU Wind Ensemble is set to perform their final concert of the year, “LUX,” tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Shryock Auditorium.
