Carbondale City fire fighters work to extinguish an engine fire in an Ace Taxi van Wednesday at the intersection of South University Avenue and West Mill Street. Traffic was diverted from the intersection until the fire was out and the van was towed from the scene. The identity of the driver and the cause of the fire were not available at publication time.
