Car flees police and crashes into apartment complex, suspect at large

A vehicle pursued by Carbondale police crashed into a building inside an apartment complex off of East Park Avenue, Wednesday night.

A black 4-door Audi sedan fled police, turned into the Park Avenue apartment complex and spun out at the end of the road, according to an officer on scene.

The suspect fled the scene and is currently at-large as of early Friday morning.

Police did not confirm if the suspect fled on foot or otherwise. 

Police ask anyone with information to call the City of Carbondale Police Department at (618) 457-3200 or Crime Stoppers at (618) 549-COPS (2677).
