Broderick W. Miller, 27, of DeSoto, died Monday night after being shot Sunday by a 21-year-old Carbondale man, police said.

A $1 million bond has been set for the shooter, Quentin M. Bailey, who was identified as the suspect and arrested by police Monday on a warrant for aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated battery with a firearm.
