Columbus Day needs celebrating
October 15, 1995
I must say that I was disgusted by the DE’s Columbus Day editorial, Columbus holiday celebrates slavery. I am shocked that this newspaper would take such an anti-white stance, especially since most of the students reading this are undoubtedly white.
In a sense, I cannot blame whoever wrote this editorial for their self-hating attitude. After all, the schools, the media, the churches, and the government, have pretty much taught us all our lives that the Indians were the good guys’ and that we white Europeans were the bad guys. Not only that, but that we white people still are bad guys. This type of propaganda has resulted in white people bending over backward for others at their own expense and has resulted in the type of idiotic views presented by the DE.
The fact is that almost every nation there is in existence today was created by conquest, this country is no exception. This is not something to be whined over, but as in the case of our own country, something to celebrate. Our forefathers fought and died so that we could have a great nation. They fought the Indians, defeated them with their superior intelligence and weaponry, and as a result, America became a great nation.

My advice to those white people who regret the conquest of this land by the white man is this:show that your actions speak louder than your words, give away al that you own to an Indian and go back to Europe. After all, isn’t that the end result of your silly thinking?
