“Sinister 2,” directed by Ciaran Foy, starring James Ransone and Shannyn Sossamon, serves as a prime example of what happens when too much pressure is put on someone to be like their sibling. It might work for a while, but eventually everything fails.

“Sinister 2” is a mixture of one hundred ideas, none of which stick. The actor’s performances and dialogue are atrocious and all positives from the first film are forgotten.

The only reason to see this film is because you are a big fan of the original “Sinister” or horror in general, but both options still lead to disappointment.
