Jane’s Addiction have reunited for a tour featuring original members Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro and Stephen Perkins with Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers on Bass. The tour will begin on Oct. 25. An album of outtakes, demos and live material pooled before the band’s breakup in six years ago also will be released. One new song Kettle Whistle will appear on the LP.

Paisley Park is reportedly in the process of giving away 100,000 copies of an acoustic, unreleased album by the artist formerly known as Prince, called The Truth. The company supposedly gives the album away to those willing to give information about themselves to a Paisley Park fan database. We couldn’t get through, but the number to call is 1-800-NEW-FUNK.
Rapping, rocking revolutionaries Rage Against the Machine are embarking on a national tour that will visit Riverport Ampitheatre in St. Louis on Sunday, Aug. 31. Tickets are $20.
