Suzanne L. Sauer, 20, of Carbondale was arrested at 2:05 a.m. Friday at the intersection of South Wall Street and East Campus Drive for driving under the influence of alcohol. Sauer posted $100 and her drivers’ license as bond and was released.

Rudy D. Kellum, 20, of Carterville was arrested at 2:11 a.m. Thursday on East Grand Avenue for driving under the influence. Kellum posted $100 and her drivers’ license as bond and was released.
Contrice L. Williams, an SIUC student, was served a Williamson County warrant at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday at Bel-Aire Mobile Home Park, 900 E. Park St. SIUC Police, assisted by FBI agents and the Southern Illinois Enforcement Group arrested Williams for conspiracy with the intent to distribute crack/cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute crack/cocaine. Williams was taken to the Williamson County Jail where she awaits her detention hearing with the Benton Court.
A private contractor reported Friday that $300 worth of galvanized steel was stolen from a McLafferty Surplus Storage on McLafferty Road between Dec. 19 and Friday. Police do not have any suspects.

Douglas J. Kloeptel, 19, of Greek Row was arrested at 2:06 a.m. Saturday on South Wall Street for driving under the influence of alcohol. Kloeptel posted his driver’s license and a cash bond and was released.
Kevin A. Radcliff, 21, of Carbondale was arrested at 12:23 a.m. Saturday at the Student Center on an outstanding Jackson County Warrant for failing to appear in court for a battery charge. Radcliff was taken to Jackson County Jail where he posted bond and was released.
Kenautis D. Smith, 24, of Carbondale was arrested at 11:46 p.m. Friday for an alleged domestic battery at Evergreen Terrace. Smith’s wife told police that he battered her, and he was taken to Jackson County Jail until bond is posted by a judge.
Evanelle A. Jeffro, 29, of Carbondale was arrested at 2:49 a.m. Sunday on East Grand Avenue for driving under the influence of alcohol, operating a vehicle without a valid drivers license and improper use of registration. Jeffro was taken to Jackson County Jail where he posted bond and was released.
A 19-year-old SIUC student reported that between 2 and 4 a.m. Monday she was sexually assaulted by an ex-boyfriend. She did not report any injury. The case is under investigation.
Danjwan Johnson, 21, of Carbondale was arrested Monday at Boomer III after a 21-year-old Carbondale woman at Southern Hills reported that she was battered by him. The woman did not report any serious injuries. Johnson was taken to Jackson County Jail where he posted bond and was released.
Jeffrey T. Daiker, 23, of Carbondale was arrested at 1:23 a.m. Tuesday on an outstanding Jackson County Warrant for forgery and theft after a traffic stop on South Wall Street. Daiker posted $500 bond and was released.
