I understand that the drug company has added a blue dye to their product, but so what? If the effect of flunitrazepam is to induce amnesia in unsuspecting victims (DE Wednesday, Jan. 21), then what medical purpose does it have?

An educated guess would render the drug yet another attempt at producing walking consumer zombies. Television already does that. Who really needs to be (Ro)hypnoltized?

Why all the talk about cloning when it is becoming an intellectual reality?
