The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department said a school bus owned by West Bus Service clipped the rear of Fligor’s truck as he turned into his driveway on U.S. Highway 51 south of Carbondale. Fligor’s vehicle flipped and came to rest back on its wheels.

Kenner, driving in his truck behind the bus, was unable to avoid impact with the bus when it stopped.

Three juvenile passengers were on the bus at the time of the accident. None were injured.
