CGI mastermind Pixar returns to the big screen with this animated tale of a team of superheroes coming out of retirement. Bob Parr – i.e. Mr. Incredible – and his wife, Helen, long ago gave up their lives of crimefighting in order to live happy suburban lives, but when the fate of the world again hangs in the balance, they return to the fray. Featuring the voices of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter and Samuel L. Jackson. Check listings for times.

This import fro the Czech Republic will play at 7 p.m. Sunday in the wham Auditorium as part of the International Film Series. Directed by Vladimir Michalek, the film looks at an old couple that, despite their irrepressible spirits, are preparing for death with as much humor as they can find. Lead actor Vlastimil Brodsky, star of such films as “Jakob the Liar,” committed suicide shortly after this film’s completion.

When an anthropologist disappears at an ancient Indian ruin, weird things start to happen, including some corpses turning up along with all the other loot that robbers have been stealing. The film will play at 7 p.m. Monday in the Illinois Room of the Student Center and is sponsored by Student Development Multicultural Programs and Services. Admission is free.
