Pulse reporter Twenty-two points, plus triple-word-score, plus fifty points for using all my letters. Game’s over. I’m outta here.
Looking for some Blue Collar Comedy? Well, brace yourselves because Ron “Tater Salad” White and Larry the Cable Guy are making their way to the SIU Arena. White will perform at 7:30 p.m. March 3, while Larry the Cable Guy will appear April 15.
The two comedians have been on tour together for the past year-and-a-half and have grossed more than $15 million in revenue. The “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” was filmed as a major motion picture by Warner Bros., released in theaters March 2003 and on DVD June 2003.

According to White’s homepage, the comedian was voted “Best Act of the Friday Night Gala”, “Best Joke” and “Artistic Impression.” White also appeared on “Late Night With David Letterman” in October 2002 and appeared as part of Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” which aired in December 2004. The Texas native also taped his own half-hour stand up special for “Comedy Central Presents,” which aired May 2003. In March, White starred in and shot a pilot for the FOX Network titled “Senor White”. When the million-dollar comedian is not performing, he headlines comedy clubs and concert halls across the U.S.
Now everyone knows Larry The Cable Guy from the notoriously funny “Blue Collar TV” which airs on the WB Friday nights and Comedy Central on Mondays. The professional Bull rider considers himself a politician of some sort. According to his web page, after running for president in ’92 and ’96, he’s the only “presidential candidate who tells it like it is.” And if you’re wondering how the humorist got his name, it’s simple:Larry The Cable Guy’s name is Larry and he used to install cable. It really can’t get any simpler than that. The Cable Guy is very supportive of his country and the right to bear arms, and believes that “we are gradually losing personal freedoms and if this trend continues, we will be living in a world of corporate socialism!”
