Saluki Way, an $83 million plan to improve the university’s athletic facilities, will soon see a seven figure donation, SIU Chancellor Fernando Trevi’ntilde;o said.

At a Board of Trustees meeting in Edwardsville Thursday, Trevi’ntilde;o said he will make a formal announcement of the seven figure donation to the Saluki Way project Jan. 24 at the SIUC Arena.

Trevi’ntilde;o would not reveal a name, but said the donor is from Illinois.
