What are you looking forward to the most out of Saluki athletics this fall?

Nareg: Football and basketball are always hot topics when it comes to Saluki athletics in the fall and I’m expecting both to bounce back big this season. However, I need to show the Track and Field team some love as it’s what I’m looking forward to most.  The team has consistently placed in first and second place in conference championships for the past four years.

Joe: I’m looking forward to see how the football team bounces back from a 5-6 season last year. They’re ranked pretty well in the preseason polls, but it’s hard to tell how the season’s going to unfold right now with a lot of uncertainty on the offensive side of the ball.

Kevin: It will be interesting to see how the football team responds to a somewhat disappointing campaign last season. I am also looking forward to seeing how the SIU women’s golf team adjusts to having a new coach.

Cory: I didn’t really want to get too vague with this, but to be honest I’m looking forward to just about everything going on. I think there were some teams from last fall that didn’t do as well as they perhaps could have so I’m anxious to see how they react with the start of a new season.
