The restaurant closed Sept. 18, 2015, because of a decline in sales. “It’s not the end of us,” Andrea Elliot, James’ wife, said. “We’ll reboot.” Growing up, James’ father was passionate about grilling, but James had no interest in it. “When I was young, I did not understand, and I didn’t want any part of it, but now I do,” James said. “I could leave this place tomorrow or the next day happily, because I know I’m doing what I love.”
