Edgar Orozco, a freshman from Elgin studying civil engineering, takes a swim in Campus Lake after his boat capsized in Saturday’s 39th annual Cardboard Boat Regatta. After sinking almost immediately, Orozco was awarded the “Titanic Award” for his boat’s dramatic submersion.
