Ashton Curtis and Kimber White, freshmen at Egyptian High School in Tamms, examine the sand in the watershed replica they helped create during the open house and project presentations Friday at the high school. More than 40 students showed their projects after participating in the two-week academic summer camp. To make the watershed, students used maps of their hometown area for reference and laid sand, trees, waterways and plastic houses, said Andrew Podoll, a student teacher at the camp.Tiffany Blanchette
