According to Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Lori Stettler, SIU’s Emergency Operations Center is now developing a testing plan to be approved by the Chancellor’s cabinet.

“We are still in the planning stages with our partners, Southern Illinois Healthcare, who will perform the testing for the campus,”  Stettler said.

University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign mandated all students on campus or attending in-person classes to be tested weekly and has administered over 835,000 COVID-19 tests.
