Living alone in a dorm has its pros and cons, just ask Chris Ulloa. Ulloa, a freshman from McHenry studying biology, said this is the second place he has lived in the last semester. After moving onto the Honors floor in Schneider Hall half way through last semester, he had a new roommate. “I could sign up with friends but why do that? This is about living the college experience and meet someone new,” Ulloa said. He and his roommate got along through the year but after entering his room Monday, it seemed much larger only having one bed in a double room. Ulloa was without a roommate. Having the room to himself has its tranquil moments, he said, but it was nice having someone around.
