Students light candles Thursday in front of SIU Arena as part of the Southern Illinois AIDS Walk. Teams raised more than $3,000 to benefit the AIDS Holiday Project, which provides food, gifts, clothing, toys and grocery store gift cards for 150 low-income households impacted by HIV / AIDS in Southern Illinois.
