Want to play for SIU football? Here’s your chance

SIU football will hold walk-on tryouts Monday at Saluki Stadium.
The on-field workout begins at 4 p.m., Saluki Athletics said today.
Saluki football will also have an informational meeting for students interested in trying out at 5:45 p.m. Sunday in the football offices in Boydston Center at SIU Arena.

Students interested are expected to complete a physical and show proof of insurance before tryouts. They must also be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.
