Senior Jonny Rigby sends the ball back to the opposite end of the court during Saluki tennis’ 4-3 win against Illinois State on April 9 at University Courts. Rigby, the lone senior on the team, was recognized prior to the match during the team’s senior day ceremony. Rigby’s parents, Karen and David Rigby, traveled from England to see their son perform in his final home match. “[Tennis] shaped his whole life,” David said. “He’s always wanted to play.” Rigby’s parents said he has been playing tennis since he was 4 years old.
